Today I heard somebody brag about reporting their undocumented maid to ICE. Is this something to be proud about?
Making life hard on others is nothing to rejoice.
They probably wanted to trade her in on a new slave.
Did this person report themselves to the IRS for not withholding taxes or paying the employer’s share of Social Security Taxes?
I see so many comments about reporting criminals was the right thing to do. I hope those same commenters are consistent.
I doubt it though.
I doubt it
Yup. He was doing his civic duty.
I don't see it as necessarily something to be proud or ashamed of.
They did a thing.
Bragging about reporting criminal behavior would get you killed in certain low income neighborhoods.
It was the right thing to do, but virtue signalling about it? Not so much.
So yes, its something to be proud of, but not something to brag about. Bragging can be so distasteful.
Here’s a woman working as a maid, for Christ’s sake, to get ahead and some ass reports her. Then brags!
People like that piss me off.
Exactly. She's trying to be a member of society
Let’s see...reporting an unrepentant lawbreaker to the authorities? Yep, that’s the right thing to do.
Didn't ask if if was the right thing to do, I asked if it was ok to brag about it
Doing the right thing is always something to brag about.
Was hiring her the right thing to do?
So if I’m keeping track correctly, someone trying to earn a living(and is performing a service for you) without documentation should be ratted out to the authorities, but somebody who dates 14 year olds should be elected to the senate.
Hey ive got a fan. 😃
No. That's a poor representation of my arguements .
I don't think you're taking into consideration the crimes she's committing by working undocumented or the strain it puts on our society.
I have said he should only step down for Justified reasons.
You’ve said, perhaps, but tlaney1 keeps defending him and referring to him as a “good Christian man”.
Yes. Reporting crimes to law enforcement is a good thing.
They hired them so...
But somehow I’m guessing they omitted that fact.
I just came to say this.
Checking a criminal?
