What is your philosophy in life?
If I'm not constantly doing something, then what am I constantly not doing.
Humanism: On the whole, aim to do what is in the best interest of continuing to improve the human condition. I also choose to expand that to all life whenever possible.
Happiness over anything else
Work hard, be self sufficient, take care of your family.
Do unto others as you would yourself is probably what I try to follow, never perfectly l, but still try.
Or as others mentioned, the more blunt "Don't be a dick."
Do something positive every day
What is worth doing, is worth overdoing
You only have one life, on this beautiful planet. So make it a positive one for you and the ones around you. Leave the world around you a better place than when you found it.
Stop and smell the roses from time to time. Life is short; enjoy it while you can.
Relax, enjoy the ride, and avoid people who just wont follow the only (Wheaton's) law that matters.
Don’t be a dick.
Always choose the option that will give you the most freedom; love, respect, and cherish your family because they will always be there for you; spoil your pets, try to follow the golden rule.
You don’t have to have all the answers, and you should never act as though you do.
Always put your wants, needs, and desires behind the wants, needs, and desires of other people.
Don't be a dick
Beginnings are scary, endings are sad but it's the middle that counts. That's where life happens.
Do you, unless it stops others from doing them, as long as them doing them doesn't effect you doing you.
This quote in a nutshell:
“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.” - Bernard M. Baruch
Oops, I accidentally replied to your comment. I did not mean to do that.
Rising above the ideas of your time is progress. (Good philosophy for these turbulent times.)
Leave a place better when you leave it than how you received it.
