Should it be illegal to sell collectibles related to murders and other violent crimes?
No. I know of a guy who bought almost all oh John Wayne Gacy’s paintings, then invited family members to a party and bonfire where they destroyed them. Many said it was therapeutic.
However, the nut job in England that owns the largest collection of Nazi stuff in the world.....that’s just creepy. I don’t see making it illegal a good thing but it’s creepy.
Gacy's paintings are worth a fortune now. Those guys are idiots.
The man was a very wealthy man. He paid a fortune for them.
As long as the police have discharged the item you're selling and don't need to store it as evidence or use it.
Maybe if I was allowed to buy back my damn rifle from the police department :(
Why do they have them?
Police departments, or rifles?
Oh, "they" not "we" sorry.
I had it stored at a senior NCO's house because I couldn't store it in the military barracks. He ended up using it as a blunt instrument to defend his family. The offender is a family friend of the responding officer and we were on the wrong side of that friendship circle, so now the cops have it as evidence in an unending investigation.
It should only be illegal to profit from the crimes you commit.
It’s a deterrent. Aka crime doesn’t pay.
The person who is commuting the crime doesn't have to be selling them
