Lately, on a free cell phone game, I've been getting absolutely ravaged by people who pay for better in-game items. Is this fair play? (Not trying to be biased, genuinely curious)
Pay to win is the worst thing to happen to gaming in a long time.
It’s a metaphor for life.
It would be fair if you spent the amount as they did
Life isn't fair.
You get what you pay for.
The app needs to generate money somehow when you’re playing for free. I wouldn’t call it fair, but it’s necessary.
How much do you want to bet the app in question has ads too?
I bet you have to pay to get rid of them too.
Any upgrades and/or advantages open to all the public is fair game, but yes, I'd you have to pay to win, you probably suck at the game.
Pay to win sucks.
It seems it's making its way into every game nowadays
