2020 Democratic Presidential Nominee Contest: I, and fellow political junkies @Senate101 and @MrAmerica had a discussion in my last poll on who might be the Democratic nominee. In the comments, like the group that you think is most likely.

I'd personally choose Bernie Sanders but if he doesn't make it to 2020, I'd like to see Elizabeth Warren or Keith Ellison.

I went with DSH. I think Warren is the most likely candidate.

Not MrAmerica’s team. The only one of them I think will even run is Tulsi Gabbard. Tim Ryan wants to be speaker. Chuck Schumer is content as the party’s leader in the Senate. Joe Kennedy hasn’t got any kind of a national profile.

And I think Tim Kaine will pull a Paul Ryan and pass up the chance to run.

While I don’t think it’ll be Colbert, I’m picking DSH’s team because I could see it being any of the others.

I was originally planning on picking 4 or 5 younger people. I didn’t want to make obvious predictions like Elizebeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden etc. not saying that those are bad choices, they’re good, but I don’t that it will be someone that everyone is expecting it to be. I was originally going to have Cory Booker instead of Tim Kaine, well.

I think you are right in your thinking. It probably won’t be somebody everyone expects it to be. I mean, at this point in 2001, Barack Obama was still in the Illinois State Legislature. At this point in 1993, George Bush wasn’t President yet.

George Bush wasn’t governor of Texas yet I mean.

Point is that you’re right that presidential candidates kind of come out of nowhere.

DSH has too many women (3:2 probability!);
Senate has Hellary, immediate disqualification;
So I picked your team.

Oh, I'm sorry, what I meant was for people to vote for 1 of the three teams listed below.
But thank you for your imput!

In case the poll wasn't very clear, these lists are the people we think could most likely run and/or become the Democratic nominee. Like the comment that has the team you think could be the most likely. The team with the most likes wins!
