My mother consistently refers to "chipotle" as "chipotay". Is there any word or name that you mispronounce no matter how many times you're corrected?

Every time I try to say the words Progressive, Liberal, or Democrat they all come out sounding like Communist. 😝

My brother had to correct me more than once on that new LEGO ninja movie. Ninjago or something 😅

No, but my husband mispronounces Chipotle (Chipol-te), nuclear (nucular), and asphalt (ash-phalt). Every. Damn. Time.

Misery. Seems more accurate and descriptive than either of the pronunciations commonly used by the people who live there.

No, but my husband has a problem with Spanish pronunciations. Too much Joisey in him I guess.
