Physical. I have a very high threshold for physical pain. I have a very low threshold for emotional pain.
Many times physical pain creates emotional pain.
I'd say the opposite is true as well, unfortunately
It's hard to ignore physical pain. I just change or delete my emotions, it's the healthiest way of dealing with them.
Example: changing sadness to anger, anger to productivity, productivity to satisfaction, satisfaction to happiness. Either that or I momentarily convince myself that I enjoy the feeling of sadness, and then I'm happy right away.
