Is your smartphone a normal size unit or a larger “plus/XL” size. This is not an opinion question but whether or not you have the smaller or larger version offered.

Really mine is neither. Standard size today is about 5.2" and phablet size is 5.7". Mine is 5.5"

The manufacturer. Google Pixels come in pixel and pixel XL variety. Samsung Galaxies come in Galaxy and Galaxy Plus. Some phones like the Galaxy Note are already Plus size phones intentionally. iPhones come in standard and Plus models as well. It’s pretty clear when you buy one, if it’s supposed to be an extended size vs a more traditional sized phone even though the traditional phones have also nearly doubled in viewable are in last 4-5 years.
