While in his 30's, Senate nominee Roy Moore pursued relationships with at least four girls between the ages of 14 and 18. Moore initiated a sexual encounter with Leigh Corfman when she was 14. Should Roy Moore drop out of the Senate race?

The difference between Democrats and Republicans on this issue is we arrest our alleged rapists, they elect them!

This wouldn’t be the first time liberals organized multiple seemingly unrelated false allegations.
Let’s wait for an investigation before stating accusations as facts.

Allegedly seems to be flagrantly missing from your establishment opinion. HW grans the asses of men and women he meets, even to this day. That is documented as opposed to some here say of an allegation of 35 years or more. Go play with your bushes.

Do not drop out if he did not do it.
Accusations do not equal guilt.
After 40 years these are highly suspicious.

In any case, he should drop out since the damage has been done.

If the allegations are not true and he drops out, it will only encourage them to do the same. The women who made accusations against Herman Cain all disappeared after he dropped out.

You recounted those charges as though they were undeniable facts. I’m very disappointed, Skinner. Not only is presumption of innocence the bedrock of our legal system, but considering that these accusers could easily have come forward when he ran twice for Alabama Supreme Court, but they have only come forward 38 years after the alleged incidents at a time when the Democrats are DESPERATE to keep this good Christian man out of the Senate, there is a TREMENDOUS burden of credibility upon these accusers. I am as positive he’s innocent as your poll question sounds positive that he’s guilty.

Agree πŸ‘†πŸ» look all of Trumps accusers..they came out of the woodwork before a important debate with Clinton..he won the election and POOF their gone..all those years he was in the public eye and because there is an election they come out accusing..i call that shady business..

Moore has been in other elections and they didn't say anything. All democrats have left is damaging candidates credibility before election and then keeping the same tired attacks going after they get elected. Trump accusers have disappeared and gotten silent yet they still bring it up constantly

I mean, I could have used allegedly, but let's be serious. This is totally true. There's way too many and diverse accusers for this not to be true and elements of the story already check out.

Well, you can believe whatever you want, but I'm siding with the victims. These are women who haven't donated or campaigned for any of Moore's opponents and who have even voted for Republican presidential nominees like Bush, Romney, and Trump. Heck, these women didn't even seek out media attention, but rather the Post heard about Moore's relationships with teenage girls and sought them out. There are even friends and relatives who have corroborated their stories and many of the background facts can be independently verified.

Honestly Praet, considering your own history; I'm really hard-pressed to believe you are outraged about this.

I never indulged in *illegal* sexual conduct.
If I'm outraged it's exactly because of the pre-condemnation I see on SoH.
IF the allegations are true however, I'm outraged not about the age of the girls but about the predatory nature of the misconduct

Praetorianus Fair enough.
11/09/17 11:23 pm

So skinner, you DO have a valid point about me not being outraged about the age issue but IF the allegations are true, this guy DID abuse teens, given the statements, and this does outrage me as a negative example to harm intergenerational relations.

Don’t forget, Moore ran twice for Alabama Supreme Court. Where were these accusers then? They didn’t come forward until the deep pockets of the DNC and the Washington Post were DESPERATE to keep this good Christian man out of the Senate.

Let’s see if Moore can eventually become POTUS, with the numerous, illicit sexual encounters Bill Clinton had, maybe Moore’s, wife can even become a Senator or Sec. Of State. if it’s acceptable on one side of the isle, it should be on the otherπŸ€”

11/10/17 12:40 pm

Senate ... so, if the Democrats paid only three women or only two women, or heaven forbid only one woman, then you’d give Mr Moore the presumption of innocence, but when the number is four, that throws you over to the presumption of guilt?

I just think it’s helpful to know the limit of credulity.

Senate ... so the videos of Mr Weinstein don’t play a part in the credibility, it’s just the shear volume?

There were multiple women alleging misconduct with Mr Trump too, but what happened to those allegations? It appears that they were ALL politically motivated and all evaporated after the election.

Look, if Mr Moore did what they allege, I’d want him out. But the problem we have is that there’s now an entire industry that makes its money falsely smearing so as to obscure the facts. That industry can not win by slandering an individual’s character, can they?
