In this age where statues are taken down and schools renamed, why has no one stated the FBI building should be renamed? Hoover was a white supremacist who didn’t follow the law and thought the FBI was above it. Change the name?

Most statues that are being taken down are now in predominantly BLACK cities. Those statues were put up many years ago when those cities were predominantly WHITE. Why is everyone surprise that blacks want these gone and why are white cities not taking them and putting them up?

Well, it was a documentary and calls made from LBJ to JEH and JEH to LBJ were unusual. The documentary listed all the things the FBI did. Had interviews with the FBI agents involved. I enjoy the documentaries but I’m not so familiar with American history to know if the documentarian had a hidden motive. LBJ certainly uses the N word but he worked for civil rights. To be honest, I had a hard time understanding anything that man said. It’s like Jeff Sessions, it’s hard to keep up.
So, yes, I am tempted to believe it based on the phone calls and interviews but it’s not a rock solid source by any stretch of the imagination. That’s why I used “apparently”.

No, when I think of the FBI, J. Edgar Hoover's name is the first name that comes to my mind. His name is synonymous with the FBI. I think it would be the same for most Americans.

I think we should build new statues next to the old ones, that are in honor of those fought slavery and fought for Civil Rights. Then, black families can. Bring their kids, show them both statues, learn from them for free, and EMPOWER their kids with the knowledge of how far they’ve come!

I just read your comment, Dio. I don’t know enough about Nathan to know where he stands. Did I misread him? I thought he was saying that leftists will burn books to wipe out history just like they’re trying to do with other forms of art. Either way, I agree with what you’ve said, Dio.
