I miss my grandmother's scones. She used to measure the ingredients with her hands, she knew them all by heart. But nobody got the recipe 😭😭😭😭

We never have regular mashed potatoes or sweet potatoes with marshmallow. Though I was raised up north, my mom is a southerner and she always, ALWAYS makes sweet potato casserole with pecan streusel topping. It’s just not thanksgiving dinner without it. She orders her pecans from a farm in Alabama (B&B Pecan Company, highly recommend them) because they’re so much better than the ones from California, and we always make two huge trays of it.

Grandma passed away a couple years ago. She always brought the sweet potato casserole, but luckily she had given us the recipe some years earlier. We make “Mamaw’s Sweet Potatoes” every year.
