Another U of MN grad here, Duluth version. Worked for me.
I went to the U of M. I loved my school, more so because I’m from MN.
I'd go to Berkeley. I'd pass on Minnesota winters.
I went to UMNTC. It's a fabulous place with all sorts of things happening.
Berkeley is only worth it for hard sciences, all else isn't worth the riots
I'd rather attend Berkeley, for their computer science school. I think I would be able to ignore all the politics that everybody else is talking about. I'm more concerned with my education than the political zeitgeist.
I don't think Berkeley likes free speech and respect different opinions. I would not attend a place like that.
UC Berkeley? Is there a greater bastion for close-mindedness? I'm not here espousing an ideology. But if you happen to be conservative and you step foot near the Berkeley campus, you’re fortunate to escape with your life. Literally, YOUR LIFE. So much for open dialogue, the engagement of opposing opinion, rational debate, and preparing for life in THE REAL WORLD.
(Counseling services? Are you f*ing kidding me? Man, am I glad for my own mortality😅!)
And it goes on, and on, and...
I’m fairly biased against anything California, and UC Berkeley has a reputation for being a liberal cesspool spawning ground. I’ll pass on that.
Never been to either, but Berkeley has been on the news a lot, and not for anything good
I chose Berkeley because I’ve been to Berkeley and I liked it. Some of my friends teach there. I haven’t been to University of Minnesota, so I’m biased towards what I know.
University poll: University of California, Berkeley or University of Minnesota - Twin Cities?
I think I will do university polls for a couple nights.
I vote for University of Minnesota. I went there for my undergraduate. I liked it overall.
What did you get your degree in?
