The people claiming they are going to leave NJ, NYC or VA due to election results are more likely than not the same people who chided the ones who said the same after Trump won.

I live here. Hated Christie. Hated the high taxes with him and hate the higher taxes and sanctuary state status coming with Murphy.

Moving states is very different than leaving the country

Probably. Either do it or don’t, but no one needs you to announce it to them.

And let’s be honest, people still in New York City or New Jersey are too stupid to move anyway.

You know Liberty - when I was much younger and would hear about all these terrorist attacks (for instance) in Israel - I remember asking my parents why do these people continue to live there with all those terrible things happening.

Now that I am older I unfortunately understand. Our jobs are here, our families are here, our lives are here. It’s easier said than done. NJ is not the place that I fell in love with compared to when I got married and it’s about to get worse thanks to liberal judges and a new governor. I don’t know where I would move to but I like being a car ride away from my daughter (where ever she winds up).

My family has had a house there for decades. My taxes are equal to my home in PA. Yet, much smaller. My friend, retired and moved out of N.J. A lot of her friends have moved to the Poconos from N.J.
I understand being close to family. It’s so important!

I don’t know where we will wind up. Extended family in Long Island, others in Brooklyn. Some in NJ. Sis in Pa.

It is different for the fact that people are way more likely to move to a different state than a country. Many are leaving California because of their politics, for example.

I think they should move to Mexico. They can build their wall from the other side. Bye bye now.

Let's say the same *type* of people.
Nobody in their right mind gives up their house, workplace and friends just because of an inconvenient election result.
There's a word or two for this behavior: drama queen.

100%! I'm sure being here in NJ I am more likely to see it but it's already happening.

Unless they are sick and tired of the exorbitant taxes.

I'm probably seeing it because of where I live, but yes, it's absolutely being said.

A co-worker of mine said those exact words, then said Delaware is looking better by the minute, to cite one example
