There seems to be a recent uptick in popularity for space exploration, maybe not as much as during the first space race but still noticeable. So, are you interested in space exploration, be it rovers or manned missions envisioned?

Interested, but it should be privately funded.

Humanity may have been born on this Earth, but we weren't meant to die here.

Waste of money. Any planet that might sustain life 1. Hasn't been found yet 2. Won't be reachable by us

Probably because we've just accepted that we'll continue to fuck up our planet till it's uninhabitable.

Not when it puts my future children in debt. Just to collect rocks

Don’t get me wrong, space is awesome, so much to learn, the last frontier to explore, but I think right now, we need to work on things here first.

My dad worked with NASA on the early space program. All of his kids thought that we pretty cool.

When I was little, space toys were all the rage from rocket shaped pedalling go-carts to metal toys to spaceship shaped popsicles.
Probably more than 50% of first graders had astronaut as their favorite profession.

Yes, my brothers were all about those toys too.

The first space race was nothing more than a dick measuring contest with Russia. Despite the fact that it's kinda interesting, we don't have the money for nonsense like that right now.

But we seem to have the money to engage in foreign wars.
Interesting.

Both astronomy and space buff since the first Moon landing I watched at age 4.
Glad to see America back in the "game" finally. 😎
