It's the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution. Are you a communist?
No. I frown on mass murder
No common core gave me somewhat of a brain to use
Absolutely not. It fails time and time again and many members of my family had to pay for it.
Yeah, you're Polish. I can imagine...
Nope. Don’t like bread lines.
There often was not bread lines because there was no bread
Lol, actually I was in Moscow in 1997 and had a nice time. Lots of police with machine guns, black cars. We were to not to stop and listen to people giving speeches on the street. But it was very clean and neat.
Why couldn’t you stop and listen?
Company policy. It may have been political speech’s and they were worried we could get in trouble. We had private cars to drive us. Only company approved cabs. Even the RosNet facility had armed guards.
You bet your ass I'm a commie
What does a commie do here? Do you live in a commune? Or work in one?
Whatever I can to further the goal of communism.
Sadly not much considering that I, like every other citizen of the USAc am part of the labor aristocracy
Have you ever visited a Communist country? (If so which)
Nope, I'm not rich enough to travel that far. I would if someone paid for me to go though.
The anniversary of the start of the revolution was 8 March 2017.
No, I am absolutely NOT a communist.
Funny that the people that are adamantly communist on this app have never lived under communism and haven't a clue what it's actually like. They only read the idealism and think it's great.
I point that out as my parents grew up under communism and my grandparents lived under Stalin. I offer their statements and I’m told I’m biased. I have their years of personal experience and teachers statements about life under communism so I guess I’m biased. I guess books are better than personal experiences of many many people.
Right? I have grandparents who lived in Poland while it was under communist rule. While it may be anecdotal evidence, it fits with what is seen in tons of writings and documents, showing it was experienced by many people.
Yet somehow propoganda books and the fact that a few people liked living under communism are infitinely more valid to these whackjobs, haha.
Yeah....we know nothing. I get that I’m biased. It wasn’t “real communism”. What I’m saying is “propaganda” etc etc. Lenin and Stalin were good guys. They didn’t persecute anyone.
I know.....I just shake my head.
I mean, my parents were born and raised in America, so they didn't experience communism. I can't imagine how annoying it must be for you, with basically your whole family having lived under communism in some form, to constantly hear from ignorant teens who think they know best because they've read a few lesser known works of Marx or something.
True. It is beyond annoying to me but my parents laugh at them and roll their eyes.
I've never seen anyone that once lived under communism advocate for it later.
According to some of those people, all the people who liked communism or living under a regime are numerous, and anyone who says otherwise is a liar and/or was paid to say that. It's asinine, and is basically just a conspiracy theory.
I'm not sure I'm following you. Are you saying that the people that say that they like communism are living under it now, or have been?
Russia has a couple but they were very young and they are power hungry.
Right, so the ones that like communism in communist countries have an agenda for power and wealth. Everyone else be damned.
@Kyle775 Are you advocating for communism right now? Is that what you're trying to say?
I was referring to the people who love communism that SticksAndStones talked about.
I was trying not to name names.
I think Kyle was saying that people who claim that most people liked living under communist rule are wrong, which I agree with.
Ok. I agree with you. I think that the only people that advocate for communism after having lived in it are in the ruling class and have everything to gain from it. Kim Jung has a pretty good life under communism. Everyone else be damned to support his lifestyle.
"I am not a crook"
You better believe it
I am not a communist.
