What's the exactly number of days that have to pass after a mass shooting before we can discuss gun control measures?

I will discuss them when we discuss mental health issues

Mental health has been discussed. How do you feel about Trump scrapping rules to keep some people with mental health issues from getting guns?

Also, the ACA requires insurance to cover mental healthcare. How do you feel about Trump trying to destroy the ACA?

When there's a Muslim terrorist attack- "don't politicize this"
When there's a white shooter- "we need gun control"
The funny thing is that in the recent Texas incident, hunt control laws wouldn't have stopped the shooter at all, but it would've stopped the civilian who made the terrorist flee.

To answer your question, you can talk about whenever you want. The day of, if you want.

We should not wait for tragedies to occur. Discussions between both sides of the issue should be ongoing with the goal of reaching a workable solution and compromise.

Gun control measures are irrelevant, people are always going to find a way to harm others wether it be with a gun, a knife, a car, a bomb, or poison, it’s going to happen.

Just because people find ways to harm one another doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try to do what we can to decrease it happening. If someone steals your car are you going to leave your next car running with the doors unlocked?

Pretty sure this last shooter got dishonorably discharged. Making this entire gun grab push strictly agenda driven.

Gun grab? No. Common sense regulations? Yes!

Good job missing the point. You see, being discharged from the military dishonorably means you can not own firearms anymore.

Which "common sense" regulations?

My question applies to any mass shooting.

Radon, yet this shooter was able to own multiple weapons. Purchased on Colorado and Texas.

My point exactly you dense man. More laws won't help if they can't even keep the one where he's in the military database away from them.

Radon, insults will get you nowhere.

kscott516 Show Time

What's common sense about them? Criminals don't follow laws so creating more restrictions won't do anything. The Texas shooting is a perfect example of that. So 2 out of the 3 are automatically useless.

The 3rd deals with penalties against manufacturers and dealers. Manufacturers are not responsible for what someone does with their product. Would you be directly responsible if your son killed people? None of these would do anything. It's a shame that society has devolved to simply thinking social studies are accurate.

December 14 will be five years since Sandy Hook. Since then 1,552 mass shootings have occurred, We have a gun violence problem in America. We need solutions. Solutions that save lives.

What does gun control have to do with Kelly, when it is quite clear that this was "human error"?.....

I didn't mention Kelly. This goes for any mass shooting. Do you have an answer to my question?

Sentinel Ya ie wa noh
11/07/17 9:37 am

Yes, I do.....gun control is not the issue..... "💡" (fizzle, crackle, fizzle) in all cases it ultimately falls on "human" error, not gun laws or the gun itself......

thatguy2 I am Antifa
11/07/17 9:39 am

Not an answer.

So effectively infinite days. That's all I wanted to know.

Apparently, "to discuss gun control measures".....however, to achieve the "measures" part would indicate the mourning, acceptance, discussion/debate, resolution, legislation and application and ultimately healing.....

That doesn't answer my question.

It’s useless to discuss it, as long as the Republicans are in complete power, and the NRA holds them by the throats!

The NRA has nothing to do with this other then apparently one of their instructors took out the shooter. The NRA BS is a false flag and favorite whipping boy of the moronic.

11/07/17 9:26 am

I didn’t blame the NRA, what I said was the Republicans belong to the NRA, and there will no discussion on gun control, waste of breath to talk about it.

11/07/17 9:28 am

I hope you realize that Dems belong to the NRA as well as do all political party members

zimmy Florida
11/07/17 9:30 am

Yes of course, but the NRA is far much stronger in the GOP.

lj74
11/07/17 10:20 am

Lol!!! Not really Zimmy. The NRA is stronger with their political supporters regardless of party!! There are plenty of Dems who receive monies from the NRA, as there are independents and GOP members.

zimmy Florida
11/07/17 10:47 am

Well I assure you, if the Democrats had both houses, plus the executive, more action would be taken on gun control.

11/07/17 11:56 am

No they could not get it through the filibuster! Just like the Republicans have everything and they can’t get through healthcare, we are a Republic not a dictatorship. The point is Obama tried, but the Republicans won’t even talk about it. That’s the entire point!

Obama would go on T.V. literally pleading to the Republicans saying something needs to be done. Nothing. He was angry, at one point he literally threw a FIT. Something needs to be done. NOW! Nothing. Republicans, it's on you.
