Do you need glasses?
I’ve had to wear glasses since kindergarten. I know wear them even when I sleep. The only time I take them off is in the shower, doing my makeup, or on the rare instances that I wear contacts.
Only if I want to see anything that is more than about three feet away.

76, Had glasses since my late 20’s until my eye Dr. replaced my lenses in my eye due to Cataracts (No, that’s not a car.) three years ago. Don’t need glasses for long, medium or short range, don’t need reading glasses.
Do need sun glasses down here in Florida.
They were not the lenses Medicare paid for, the Dr. offered better lenses at $1,500 per eye. Well worth it!

Yes, but also no. They help especially at distance and for my slightly lazy eye, but they aren’t necessary.
