Home Runs were hit at a historic rate in the 2017 World Series. Pitchers complained that the WS balls were slicker. What would you contribute the HR rate too?

I think we need to have a special counsel investigate it.

Better hitters. The balls come from one manufacturer and are rubbed by special formulated mud and keep under lock and key until the game.

That’s not very likely. The balls are hand-mudded before each game by the umpires, and MLB suits inspect them.

I would bet the balls were different this entire season

Pitching might be the problem

Who did you piss off to get downvoted about baseball? It wasn’t like you blamed a particular administration and made it political.

Maybe that’s why it was downvoted! Haters gonna hate. They can fondle my slick balls and like it. 😱😂

I don’t know much about baseball to the extent of slick balls and HR rate but, are slick balls regulation?
