It is the result of most of the insurers leaving (or left) the market already. We need to repeal Obamacare.

It’s because premiums are so expensive that small companies aren’t offering and people who had like Aetna don’t have anything. Obamacare remover so many options. Now that’s it. Ask how many are HAPPY that they HAD no other option? Bet that’s a scary number.

US leadership refuses to sit down unilaterally and figure out how to provide its citizens with health care and an education. History will not have anything good to say about us because, primarily, we are a nation of users and takers. Our society is in a steep decline and shows no sign of pulling out of it.

I honestly don't think it's either. Why would people sign up for a health care just because someone is going to repeal it. How does that make any sense?

Poor answer choices! The growth is likely due to the number of people who’ve lost their private insurance because ObamaDoesntCare has made those premiums skyrocket.

My mom had to sign up for Obamacare because if she didn’t she’d still have to pay fines. It’s not because she wants to or because she hates trump it’s because she has no other choice.

The way I see it, it doesn’t really matter considering the right has no good replacement and probably won’t have one in the foreseeable future. As long as all the big guys and their families have great coverage, there will be no sense of urgency to fix ours.

People like free things or things that other people pay for on their behalf.
Not exactly breaking news.

Being it has been around for a few years now , obviously people r more familiar with it so obviously they would sign up sooner because they understand it better now than 4 years ago.

this is because there’s a video trending on facebook encouraging people to sign up for ACA before December 15.
Why you might ask?

This is just another example of when the Federal Government gets involved, replacing the competitive free market, costs go up, less benefits are received, & we all wind up with less than we started with😳 As Ronald Reagan once said, “The most terrifying words you can hear, “I’m from the Federal Government & I’m here to help.”

ACA has tripled insurance costs. I wouldn’t call it a success. hurray!! In your face Republicans.
We helped 20% without insurance leaving 20% more without insurance, the middle class poorer and with crappier coverage.

It's the same thing that happens with guns any time the Democrats talk about gun control. People will always rush out to get something their afraid they won't have to opportunity to much longer.

A record number of people have also signed up to pay taxes, due to a growing economy and high employment. Does that make the IRS a success. The goal for the government should be to have no people get tax payer funded insurance. The goal should be for those people to take care of themselves.

The question SHOULD read: "record numbers of people have been coerced into signing up for Obamacare. Do you think this is due to republican efforts to repeal or from the left making it a punishable offense to not sign up?"
