Yes. Helps one understand the mind of Trump. One very smart guy. He was extremely obsessed with making money and "playing the game", maybe too much for me to relate to.
Truth is that none of the autobiographies by most famous figures/politicians are actually written by the person, it's a writer hired to transcripts their thoughts. No one would call Obamas autobiography the work of a ghostwriter even though it is essentially the same thing
Why would an executive like Trump, or any other person who values his time, sit down with a pad, typewriter, or computer and write a book when he can hire an expert to do the busy work? Trump, or any other busy successful person, hires experts when necessary. That's how they became successful...
If that's your criteria, then you would miss a lot of potentially valuable insight. Many apparently have the opposite viewpoint of yours because Trump's book was on the Best Seller list for almost a year and has sold at least 1.1 million hard cover copies.
People bought it because they thought it was by Trump. Get Trump's name off the cover, remove his picture, and make the cover accurately reflect that it was someone else writing it, and see how well it sells on its OWN merit.
The book accurately reflects Trump's inside business dealings, according to Trump. He hasn't disavowed anything in the book as he told it to the expert who actually put it on paper. I fail to understand why one would find it necessary for a busy executive like Trump to slavishly put it on paper himself. Smart people don't waste their time like that.
