Why did he want the ear gage? I hate those.

My niece and her friends went through that phase and I got literally sick looking at gaged ears. The sight makes me queasy.

I like tattoos when they are good tattoos done well. Mischa’s I can’t see that they are. I hate gauges. For some unknown reason, the look dirty to me. As in dirty needle sharing dirty. The way he looks on the right, I would not want him handling my food, my money, touching my electronics, near my kids, caring for my pets not even to empty the litter box, working on my car, left alone in my house. I might pay him to clean my pool but I’d seriously doubt he would do a good job. He had better be a genius with great execution.

He’s a very nice guy who would do anything for you. He is very smart and into the classics of Russian and Western Literature. He would not steal from you and is great with disabled kids.
If we go out somewhere, my parents make him wear a long sleeve shirt.

I'll say the tattoos are more of an intentional European style than dirty. Some of my family members in Italy are tattoo artists and their tattoos have the same style.

They are not typical American tattoos, no.

Russian: I assumed he was a decent person, but the pictures didn’t come with commentary. I based what I said on how he looks and not by his actions. My point is if he doesn’t have your endorsement, what is a person just meeting him going to think. It’s hard to be non judgmental but it’s easier when not given things to judge. If I had to hire someone to care for disabled kids, I would have to think his life style is risky compared to someone who cares about their appearance.

My big polish grandmother had pretty big holes in her earlobes. She wore large earrings. I guess the next trend is to cut hole in you4 lips and put in a wooden disk like the Ubangis.

She didn’t work. She took care of grandpa, cooked, took care of me and my brother and played bingo.

Definitely the one on the left. I'm sorry about what I'm about to say, he looks horrible now.

I agree. Tattoos were common in Russia but are more colorful here.
I guess he can have them removed one day

Your brothers style is definitely not my taste, but very American. Lots of my friends look have tattoos and piercings, I don't care for it personally and would rather look normal but people seem to like it.

@MrsCrayonWax

My brother Mischa. On the left is in Russia. He is 14 or 15. On the right is in the US. He is 19. 4 years, ear gauges and about 25 tattoos later.

Yup, he’s trying to fit in to American life

I’m sure he is. The tattoos don’t make him a bad guy.
