Show of Hands

I got a Facebook message from a guy I don't know using Jewish terms, talking about Torah, throwing in a little Hebrew but then ending with "Messiah Yeshua". If you believe in Jesus, you are not a religious Jew! Is this kind of evangelism acceptable?
