Between 1978 and 2016, inflation-adjusted CEO pay in the US rose 937%, while wages for everyone else rose a paltry 11.2%. In 1965, the CEO to worker compensation ratio was 20:1. Today, it's 271:1. Does it make sense to fix this by taxing the rich?
