Who do you trust more?
Comey is doing what the Clintons are telling him to do for money and safety for his life. If he came out and told the truth he would be found dead by suicide with two gunshots to the back of the head the next morning.
Emphasis on the "suicide" part.
Hard choice. I don't trust either.
I don't trust Comey. He is manipulative in his actions.
The one that didn't accuse Ted Cruz's father of being involved in with JFKs assassination.
The one that didn't say 3 million illegal immigrants voted.
I don't trust Comey at all. I'd be more likely to trust Trump.
Trump by far. I don't trust leakers.
And, you believe Trump has never leaked confidential information?
I know he hasn't.
Here a whole list of news articles that demonstrate that you're wrong. Take your pick.
Lol. He "knows".
Trump cannot leak classified information
Ahh, so you believe Trump, as president, is all powerful?
No. That is just stupid.
Presidents cannot leak classified information because they have the power to declassify information at will.
Israel seems to view it as information leaked by Trump. I don't think a lot of countries share information believing Trump will share it so loosely with Russia solely for the purpose of bragging. Trump is a leaker.
In Comey's case, the memo he shared was written by him and did not contain classified information and Comey was the author of the memo.
Let's be real here. He's not declassifying things and strategically releasing the information. He is running his mouth and letting stuff slip.
Trump can run his mouth and release information all he wants.
Just because it is unclassified doesn't mean he should release it.
It is still not classified.
There is no proof that Trump released any sensitive information or that Israel is no sharing intel.
In Isreal's position, would you be more reluctant to share sensitive information?
Don't know what was actually released so I cannot answer. I would work with and trust Trump far more than scumbag Obama, so yes, I would
Israel has already changed their intel sharing rules after Trump's blunder, so the answer is obviously yes.
You don't know that
Yes I do. www.politico.eu/article/israel-changes-intelligence-sharing-with-us-after-trumps-revelations-to-russia/amp/
Don't be silly.
Intelligence agencies don't tell the media what is really going on. Don't be so gullible. You will never know learn what is really going on.
The links go on for pages if you run a search. Pick one. I guess quotes from Isreal's defense minister are "fake news".
What was the exact quote?
What makes you think they tell the newspapers the truth of what is really going on.
Disregarding a story with direct quotes from the government in question, then encouraging others to do the same so they will "know what's going on" is the height of absurdity.
“We discussed the issue with our friends in America,” Liberman said in an interview with Army Radio. “We did our checks.” The defense chief didn’t specify what changes had been made, saying: “Not everything needs to be discussed in the media, some things need to be talked about in closed rooms.”
So what changed?
The "spot repair" part of the quote is the changes to the agreement.
What were they before and after?
What really changed?
Why would that be public?
You will never really know what, if anything. Misdirection and misinformation are tools of the trade.
Exactly my point. It will never be public. You don't know anything about it, nor does Politico or anyone else outside the intel agency. Smoke and mirrors
In what scenario is Israel making changes to their intel sharing agreement with us after the POTUS blurts out sensitive information to Russian officials not a bad thing? What could the changes be that makes this ok?
Don't know what, if anything was actually "blurted out."
Don't know what, if anything Israel actually changed.
You are really just speculating, since you know nothing about it.
Seriously doubt it will change much. Israel didn't seem to mind much during Trump's visit. He is 1,000 times better for Israel than Obama ever was.
Comey by far.
One actually gave sworn testimony. The other "says" he's willing to give sworn testimony but has a history of lying, even under oath.
Sworn testimony from Comey means nothing
Saying that you will give sworn testimony means even less, especially when you have a history of lying under such circumstances.
As does Comey.
Trust no one
If you trust Trump at all, you are seriously stupid.
If you trust Comey or any politician you are likewise seriously stupid
I don't trust Comey completely, but he is far more credible than the pathological narcissistic liar that is Donald Trump.
Neither is trustworthy at all
I didn't say trustworthy. I said credible.
Comey is nowhere near credible
The guy with detailed notes and people that can corroborate elements of the story.
Of course Comey. Seriously?
Judging by the poll results so far....yes seriously
It was an easy one for me.
Comey is a snake.
He is also spineless and lacks character..
Comey by far
Comey is untrustworthy. Leaking that memo in order to get special counsel involved, who just happens to be his former boss and friend, isn't what I would call showing the necessary integrity of someone in that position.
He's a very political animal and I think more will come out on him.
And Trump is far less credible. He lies constantly, even when anyone can tell it's a lie. What's worse, he continues to claim that what he's saying is true even after it's been debunked, and visibly false. Trump has lost all credibility to me, so whatever shred Comey has is astronomically more than what Trump has
Comey is a proven liar and coward. I trust Trump more.
Trump isn't a proven liar?
At least not yet.
there have been far too many Trump lies to enumerate.
Maybe in the mind of a echo chamber-dwelling leftist or the mainstream media, but not in the eyes of the people who put Trump in the White House.
I'm a republican - but admittedly didn't vote for Trump
size of crowd at inauguration ring a bell? not a lie? come on ...... you're in denial.
Not a lie. Try again. And what about Trump do you not like? Is he too conservative for you or something?
And Geraldo Rivera is also a Republican, so party means absolutely nothing. Ideology and policy is what determines who I vote for. I'm a paleoconservative, and Trump was the closest candidate to a paleocon who ran in 2016. That's why I voted for him in the primaries and the general election. I'm an issues voter, not a party one.
yes, it's one of many lies.
I actually like some of his economic policies - but, he's inexperienced and his tenure has been a train wreck of drama after drama, which is what i was concerned about. you can't lie your way to respect or building the consensus he spoke of on the campaign trail. he's getting close to the tipping point where he won't be able to get anything done at all. we're almost 5 months in, republicans control both the house and senate and there isn't a single major legislative win to speak of.
1. "Experience" is what got you failed fake conservative candidates like John McCain and Mitt Romney. It also brought you the pathetic presidency of George Bush and the candidacy of Hillary Clinton. "Experience" does not equate to "better president with good results".
2. You can blame the lack of legislative wins squarely on the shoulders of Congress. It is not the job of the executive branch to draft legislation and get it passed. The lack of legislative wins is not Trump's fault, but Congress'
3. Trump did not lie about the inauguration. It was the most watched in American history if you count the people watching online as part of the crowd size (which Trump did). And even if he did lie about the size of the crowd, I wouldn't care because it's a complete non-issue.
the leader is responsible for leading. had the same issue with Obama - not a leader. Trump is accustomed to bullying his way to get what he wants. may work in a privately held family owned business (even one of size and scale) but clearly doesn't work in the position he's in now.
What you want isn't leading. It's executive overreach. The president's job is to sign the legislation into law and make sure that it's enforced, not get it created and passed. Are they not teaching this in schools anymore or something?
It is literally untrue to say that Trump has never been proven lying. This isn't a George Orwell novel.
To Trumpbots they are not lies, just alternative facts....
"Maybe in the mind of a echo chamber-dwelling leftist or the mainstream media, but not in the eyes of the people who put Trump in the White House."
You, and the rest of the morons who believe everything he says are not just stupid...
