"Kids from homes where there were not given behavioral standards, who are then not held to behavioral standards in schools, are on a path that can lead them as adults straight into prison" by Thomas Sowell
I am stunned by the poor parenting that I see on a continual basis. They did not want to take care of the children why did they have them?
Think, I completely agree with that!
This isn't controversial.
Polster ... I agree. What I don't understand is ... why do Democrats fight it?
This democrat agrees.
Polster ... Democrats have done everything they can to tear down traditional families. Since the horrible Democrat and monster of a human, LBJ enacted his war in the family the black out of wedlock birth rate has gone from 20% to 80%.
It's time to stop.
How is LBJ responsible for that?
LBJ's great society, produced generations of main stream government dependent people, that should have been given a "hand up", to join the rest of the Nation with productive lives & families, instead they received "handouts", that made them lifetime dependents, beholding to the Federal Government & the Democratic Party, with a few exemptions. In my mind just another form of economic slavery.
Shippy ... you nailed it!
How does welfare break up families?
Polster ... welfare queens lose their handouts of their baby daddies come to live with them. Democrats have created a culture of dependence and rewarded people for their laziness, not their industriousness.
Tom, we miss you, and will for a long time.
Little ones need to know there are boundaries...from there, as they grow, they learn decisions.
Otherwise, you waste what could be a terrific adult.
That CAN. Yes I agree.
Agree. Personal responsibility yields the best results. Teaching certain communities that their bad choices are someone else's fault has been disastrous.
Poll Question ... "Kids from homes where there were not given behavioral standards, who are then not held to behavioral standards in schools, are on a path that can lead them as adults straight into prison or to fatal confrontations with the police" by Thomas Sowell
Left Answer: Agree
Right Answer: Disagree
The entire quote wouldn't fit in the poll question, but I added it here.
He's a very smart man. I wish more people of color would listen to him.
Breck ... I agree. Why don't they?
Good question. Because they don't like the truth. They want to be lied to by the left.
That last phrase is significant.
