Christians have a huge leg up over every other group, religious or otherwise. Don't confuse other groups wanting a few more rights and privileges with Christians suddenly becoming some disenfranchised minority.

If there is no victim it shouldn't be a crime. No individual's rights are infringed upon when a flag is burned.

Democrats: keep the freedoms of burning American flags, but stop the Christians rights for equality. That's absurd.

Yeah most of the flag burners are just trying to be edgy buy destroying the symbol of there right to burn it

It should never be illegal. But, if you do it on American soil and you end up getting your A$$ kicked, don't come crying to me.

I think it's disrespectful to burn a flag that people worked so hard and continue to work hard to make better if your protesting burn a flag that represents what your fighting if your fighting corporate exec. Burn a flag that says corruption or something that won't get you into trouble

Can I please say that while I might disagree with other people, I still understand that doesn't mean that other people aren't Anti-American pigs who are extreme Republicans/Democrats and that I should only analyze them for what they say and not on my political biases.

Freedom of speech is worthless if it DOESNT'T include burning venerated objects.

It has nothing to do with whether you "should" do it. The question was whether it should be legal. Outlawing flag burning is a clear violation of free speech, and prosecuting those who burn flags is political persecution. A free country doesn't make it mandatory to show it respect.

It was a sarcastic comment pointing out your fascist ideals in your statement. Disagreement is what this nation is built upon. The concept of kicking out all who aren't your Ideistic clone is not.

What is wrong with us? The constitution. Freedom.

It is very disrespectful to burn the American flag but it is our constitutional right as Americans to do so. Take that away and it's just another straw on the camels back. This country has lost all respect for anything that's not self serving but we can't start taking away our rights because of it.

Yes, burning the flag should be illegal. Because the I'm sure the founding fathers never did something deemed "disrespectful" to the British empire.

Your comment shows how ignorant of our Constitution you are and how unoriginal you think. Like burning the flag isn't illegal, either is educating yourself.

No, it's called freedom. I don't like that someone would burn a flag, but as long as they're not hurting anyone they should have the right to express themselves. I'm a liberal by the way.

It's a fancy little thing called freedom of expression. No one is being hurt when someone burns a flag, offended sure, but not hurt.

You mean Joseph Stalin. Karl Marx had some pretty good, but corruptible ideas. And from reading Marx's works, he was actually not too fond of government and would definitely be in favor of the burning of the flag of a corporatist republic.
