You're at a big, stadium sized concert. A bomb goes off half way across the stadium from where you are. The crowd panics and everyone starts running for exits. Do you stay put or try to make your way out with the crowd?
Hide under my seat, check it and nearby ones for bombs while I'm down there.
Time for my cross country practices to kick in 😂
I would probably wait and assess. It is how I respond to almost every unexpected event, when a path forward is not immediately apparent. Not saying that I would wait 20 minutes, but I would not just take off either.
I'd head straight towards where the bomb went off. They wouldn't bomb the same place twice.
you sure about that?
Boston marathon had two in the same area
Stay put unless you want to be trampled.
I actually start directing people towards the exits, try to get folks out quickly and safely.
Head to the blast and help the injured
Depends, if it was something small I would stay put out of fear of the crowd. If it was a larger bomb I would go into the field.
Head for the exit. You don't know how many more bombs there are. People in the Boston Bombing stayed put only to find out the hard way that there was a second bomb.
I will stay put for a few seconds and watch what everyone else does. Once the pattern of reaction is established, I will go to where the fewest people are favoring wide open areas where there is no place to hide anything.
Everyone says they'll stay put, and that's the logical decision, but when the bomb actually goes off, you'll go into panic mode and run for it.
Stay put then exit in an orderly manner. Let the runners and panickers go first. First thing I do would be praying.
Stay put. If another one goes off, it'll be where the most people are.
I'm not going where the crowd goes. That's certain.
