A waitress of a relatively new local restaurant is rude to you (asks for a tip, gives you attitude, serves others first, etc.), do you revisit the restaurant within the year?
if the food and atmosphere were good, sure, I'd give it another try
Sure as long as the food is good. But I'll be asking for a different waitress next time
Just get a different Waitress or waiter
I will talk to the manager. Give it one more chance. No change - drop it like a bad habit
If the food was good, yes.
It all depends on how the food is. I can put up with bad service if the food is good enough
This is why I don't go to new restaurants. I give them a decent amount of time to work out the kinks.
Yes, but I wouldn't tip the waitress
The trick is to give a very low tip. If you don't leave a tip at all they'll think you either forgot or you're cheap. If you leave a really low tip they'll know it was for bad service.
That's certainly one strategy, or I could follow my grandfather's method. He would always tell a bad waitress exactly why he was tipping them nothing and explain that he normally tips generously and won't walk out 'with his tail between his legs' because they didn't earn a tip.
If the food was good, I'd go back. If I saw the same server working, I'd request not to be seated in her station.
I would come back if the food was good.
One person does not make the establishment. If the food was good, I would give it a second chance to see if service is different
Tip her nothing and come again if the food was good. If it was bad enough email the place and complain.
