Do you prefer Obama's healthcare plan or Trump's healthcare plan? Comment also: why either or why neither
ACA was an imperfect attempt to give affordable health care for all. Unfortunately, the first attempt under Obama was flawed because opposing interest groups and lobbyists weakened it. Those same groups are causing the Republican Congress to propose an even worse fix. Until we have universal health care the lower and middle classes will suffer and the wealthy will not care.
Neither. We need universal healthcare. Under both "force people to buy corporate healthcare" plans people die.
Neither, but if I had to pick, it might be Trump's. I have issues with each, but the majority of the issue with the new one seems to be how many it would leave uninsured. From what I've heard, on npr I admit, it seems like most of this is due to people choosing not to accept the insurance, which I can't find fault with.
Note: I said majority, not all. I don't even know if it's a strong majority.
Neither. I want a single-payer system. Everyone contributes through taxes and everyone gets proper base-coverage while the government retains the right to negotiate drug prices.
People voted Obama into office because every single person needs to have health insurance. And that is not because anyone cares about people's health, because no one does. No one cares if you want to pay for it or not. When given the opportunity to be responsible people fail. That's why we make laws. 20%+ comes out of our annual budget to pay for medical bankruptcies filed by the uninsured. Seriously, no one thinks this is theft? This is what mandatory health insurance was meant for, not so people could live longer or healthier, but to keep our money. Force assholes to be responsible.
Good one Kspells👍
Trumpcare isn't a Healthcare Bill, it's a Death Sentence AND YOU KNOW IM SERIOUS!!!
It's not a Healthcare Bill
The government has no place in healthcare. And what will Obamacare do? It's gonna die anyway
The House narrowly passed the American Health Care Act Thursday, which would restrict access to abortion insurance coverage and block Medicaid money for Planned Parenthood. It would also make it easier for insurers to charge women more if their medical histories include “pre-existing conditions,” including a rape or a Caesarian section. The Congressional Budget Office estimated that the original version of the bill, which never received a vote due to a lack of Republican support, would block Medicaid for 14 million enrollees and cut $880 billion from its budget over 10 years. The majority of Medicaid recipients are women. Because Obamacare disproportionately benefited women, its repeal and replacement with the AHCA would disproportionately hurt them and these are some of the most potentially damaging changes.
This hasn't passed Senate yet, so let's wait till we see
Beside like I said THIS BILL IS NOT A HEALTHCARE BILL!!! It’s a tax cut for rich people, funded by cuts to Medicare and Medicaid. Trumpcare has special tax cuts that only benefit the highest-earning households, and another one that will go to insurance company executives who make more than $500,000 a year. You cannot make this stuff up. They are cutting taxes for insurance company executives who make more than a half a million dollars each year and they are financing it by cutting health care for the people we represent.
I agree with a lot. Medicare expansion is out of control, and must come to a halt, we have added so much to our debt because of it. Pre-existing conditions is an entitlement that shouldn't have been made, and planned parenthood should be defunded. If it passes then I imagine it'll have all sorts of problems, but it won't be bleeding the same money it is now.
Tax cuts for the rich is a silly partisan soundbite. I disagree your your opinion but appreciated it until that point

Besides This bill will blow up the debt and the deficit. And the crazy thing is that we don’t even know how much our national debt will increase, because Republicans are rushing this through without a formal analysis. So we have no idea how much this bill will cost us or how many will lose health care coverage.
Besides I wouldn't call this a Healthcare Bill, I would call this a Financecare Bill
