Situation: A teacher friend of mine works at a middle school. He is 24 and claims that some of his students are cute/attractive. Although he claims he would never act on this, he feels in the wrong. Is this unacceptable or natural? Please comment

I think it's probably somewhat natural. Definitely would be wrong to act on it. I would feel weird about it too if I thought that way, but I don't think it's wrong of him so long as he keeps it to himself.

Middle school makes it unacceptable to me. If it was HS, I'd say natural. But middle school students are too young for a 24 year old to find attractive.

Its natural, but that doesn't mean its ok.

I'm not understanding how it's natural for a 24 year old man to find 11-14 year old girls attractive.

It's creepy, but technically not unnatural.
It would be very unacceptable to act on.

It's completely natural for older men to be attracted to younger women. It's how we are built. Current Society deems it inappropriate.

Totally natural. It's one reason why I couldn't teach high school.

For the record, my daughter just finished the 9th grade. The kids are developing much earlier now than they did when I was in middle school.

Natural and unacceptable are two different concepts

Unless he's taking some artificial drugs causing this, its natural. Also unacceptable to act on it
