The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals has refused to reinstate Executive Order 13780. A great victory against Christian dominance and for religious freedom and equality!!!
Has nothing to do with religion.
Another good reason why President Trump got elected - he gets to appoint more SCOTUS justices who won't be dumbasses like those on the 4th circuit.
The 4th Circuit CoA is a great court that offers a great review of the constitution in relation to the cases that come before them.
No it's not.
Ruled over us well
You want the government to rule over you? You are a democrat.
I don't like labels
That's what people say when they don't like a particular label.
And I wouldn't want to be called a democrat either, so I understand your concern.
If Obama wrote the same travel ban no one would have said anything because it is for national security not a religious ban. This is especially worrisome after the Manchester bombing a few days ago.
The majority of judges in the 4th circuit were appointed by democrats...another problem.
The 4th circuit court is considered the most conservative in the country dude.
Not anymore since Dems (Obama and Clinton) appointed 10 out of 15 justices.
Very misleading poll
What do you mean?
The executive order has nothing to do with "religious equality", which is a incorrect phrase to start with.
It isn't about it, but it affects it greatly.
At least you admit your dishonesty.
I am not being dishonest.
How in the hell was I being dishonest. This is a victory for religious equality and freedom and you come here and make stuff up, just like Trump.
This is absolutely dishonest and the order had nothing to do with a "Christian-only policy".
It's not even a Muslim ban. If it was it did a shitty job at banning Muslims.
Liar, TJ! Fundamentally, there is no such thing as religious equality. As you make up false terms, lie, and pitch a fit, the truth remains intact.
It isn't a policy that only supports Christianity. I don't even like the abrahamic religions and I support it.
Thats not what the court ruled
The court doesn't always see things from an objective standpoint
Well considering we've gotten rulings from three courts spread across the political spectrum and theyve all agreed, im pretty sure we can make a determination
If you want to let the courts decide what you should think or if you happen to agree with them go ahead, but don't expect the rest of us to be the same.
I'm not letting the courts determine what I think. I'm telling you the courts determined the bill to be discriminatory
The most conservative court in the country said in its opinion that the executive order "drips with religious intolerance, animus, and discrimination"
If you didn't agree with them then why'd you point it out? At least, that's what you seem to be implying by objecting to my comment.
The second part only shows the incompetence of the people of those courts.
