Will there be a point where Democrats in Washington stop obstructing and work with President Trump to help America's problems or are they to polarized for that?

During Obama's eight years, Republican's obstructed every single thing. You can't claim the high ground here.

It is the republican part that is polarizing into several factions causing the problems for Mr. Trump. The Democrats are just watching and waiting.

Here's the thing, democrats think Trumps ideas are damaging to America. I don't expect them to work with something they see as negative.

Stop all the sniveling & crying about Dems being mean to Trump. Did republicans work well with President Obama ever in 8 years? No. The republicans were responsible for the most closed, least amount of work done by congress in history. # 113 (maybe) not to mention every threat of shut down because of their obstructions. So let the Dems break all the GOP records first. Then whine. Republicans are so clueless to how stupid their rhetoric is.

about the same point the Republicans would have stopped obstructing Obama.

So in other words, never.

Don't get your panties in a bunch. The only thing that's changed is the players have switched sides and playbooks.

Hate the game, not the players.

Despite the fact that the republican agenda for the last 8 years was to obstruct anything supported by the democrats or the president, it should not be a big surprise that dems are now acting the same way as the republicans did then. DUH!?! The "why can't we all just get along" plea by republicans is ironic at best, and insulting and demeaning to those who worked very hard to get the republicans to do just that during Obama's tenure.

No, and they should not cease in torpedoing his cancerous bullshit until he's out of office or dead from a heart attack or syphilis.

Both parties are obstructionist.

'At what point will Dems treat Republicans with more respect than Republicans treated them?' Hopefully never, for the good of the country.

Republicans did the same thing for obama.

But really, let's start with putting forth a bill that isn't terrible.

If the Democrats didn't vow obstruction, trump could have worked with them to put a bill for both sides. Since they are refusing to work with him he will put a right wing forward. The Democrats are guaranteeing a bill that you don't like will pass.

This makes no sense. The GOP wrote a bill... everyone hated it... it didn't pass. The writers of the bill made no attempts to "work with" the people who didn't think it was good... so it died. If you can't even get your own party behind it, it's a bad bill.

The new one or whatever one that comes in the future and eventually passes will be a right wing healthcare plan, and if you complain, you can blame your own party for refusing to work with the other side. Republicans don't have to work with Democrats, it's the other way around

If you introduce a bill and it doesn't pass, then yes, YOU are the one that needs to work with others. If republicans make a bill that can pass without making any concessions to the democrats/whomever, they won't.

Forget the payback, when is the GOP going to come up with a plan that the Dems can support?

It is pay back for all the obstrusion the GOP did to the Obama administration.

Which happened as a result of obstructing the Bush agenda. When will the grow up and put country over party?

Does that make it justified?
And the press.
Never in the last two decades has anything been this biased.
I am a liberal and I fear the public will eventually react against all this and push the agenda even further to the right.

Peeps aren't that dumb. They know the press is biased. Melania brushing away DJT's is not a fight. It's her focus on protocol. How sweet. Meeting with world leaders and he is thinking of holding beer hand. Now that's the real story!!!

My statement was an observation, not political.

Bush had one agenda - resolve 9-11 but he made the mistake on Mission Accomplished and the WMDs. Listened to poor advice and guidance.

My statement was an observation, not political. The biggest issue facing this nation is the vitriolic media on both sides but started by Rupert Murdoch, a Brit and FoxNews. Fox wanted to be sports network, but the $$$ (profit) was in the vitriol. They are still losing monies on the NFC and MLB.

No it is an observation - I may agree or disagree.
