According to Pew Research Center, in the last 14 months alone, half of young Republicans have left the GOP, and 1/4 of young Republicans have left the GOP for good. Do you believe that 1/4 of young Republicans leaving forever is good for the party?

How does Pew get its results? Polls. Do I ever believe in polls again in my life? No!

I'm a young voter! I think my generation doesn't like to be label as either Democrat or Republican. Many of us (generation Z ) are more conservative but we retain our independent status. It's not good for either party if you look at it like that.

Good, there is only a couple republicans that will gain my vote. The party clearly doesn't care about the people.

No, it's not good for the Party, however, what is the GOP doing for them?

Gal ... the GOP is trying to recover the future for millennials. You know, that thing that MrO threw away to feed his narcissism.

Polster ... how accurate was Pew on the last presidential election? Let's start there, so we can put the findings into the best possible context.

Pew polls put Clinton ahead in the nationwide popular vote, and she won about 3 million more votes nationwide. Pew did not predict, however, that Clinton would win the election, to the best of my knowledge.

Polster ... there you go again. Mrs Clinton did "win" anything. She lost the election. She did not enter a race to "win" the popular vote. In fact our president election is most definitely NOT about the popular vote.

Mrs Clinton did receive more votes but that is irrelevant. What was Pew's prediction on he electoral college?

Polster ... let me help you to avoid the embarrassment of your silly floundering. It's unbecoming of even a princess snowflake.

Start here, with Pew's own assessment of their failure.

Now, while I doubt you read it, this puts the predictive capabilities of the polling companies into a better context for our discussion of these most recent "findings".

It's curious that you choose to focus on polls of the nationwide popular vote when it doesn't matter.

Polster ... you're a hoot! I use your source to show how imprecise your source is and you accuse me of being you?

Pew's assessment was about why opinion polls in general failed, not why Pew's own polling failed.

Polster .. thatnks dir admitting that your definition of accurate or twisted. You and I both know that Pew and all other pollers wrong.

So, for you "accurate" equates to totally wrong!

Polster ... stop projecting your foibles onto me! I laugh at the pathetic supporters of the Madame of Corruption when they whine and say that she "won the popular vote" as if that's the contest she entered (which it's not)!
