Can you bench press your own weight for one rep?

Yes...but thats a result of me losing weight not increasing my max.

I stopped adding weight at 270.

I have a partial tare in my shoulder and thats the amount where I start to feel like my arm is pulling out of the socket. I rarely bench over 225 now. But I threw 270 on 2days ago for my last set of 5.

My workout routine is lower weight, higher reps. My normal is 45lbs and 90-100 reps without stopping.

I think I can still bench my weight once though.

Yes. When younger, I could surpass my weight by 80 pounds. One of my brothers could do twice his weight.

I haven't lifted since October but I'm pretty sure I could. My max was 275

I used to do more than my weight, but I probably can't now.

If you're unsure, just guess.
