President Trump asked two intelligence officials, DNI Dan Coats and Adm. Mike Rogers, to state publicly that the Trump campaign and Russia had not colluded in 2016. Both officials refused. Was it appropriate for Trump to have made this request?

It will be interesting to hear what the DNI and DIRNSA say when they are publicly asked by Congress if this story is true.

"...a former senior intelligence official told NBC News."

More unnamed anonymous sources, more fake news.

That doesn't make it automatically fake nor correct. People who have already made up their minds are just picking sides.

I'm tired of the media constantly getting away with this fake news. Just "quote" some supposed anonymous source somewhere and nobody questions it. Name the source!

If they named the source then they would stop getting as many sources. Some people will only go to the news if they can remain anonymous. They don't want to lose their jobs.

The white House verified their validity by not denying and arguing against them or trying to justify their decision. Some of them anyway. They finally caught on and stopped commenting.

If you have a problem with this story, I suggest contacting NBC News.

Don't have to, its fake news.

CL ... it would be good if there was less news of the fake kind. It's unfortunate that you believe that ALL of the accusations can be anonymous.

Our form of justice allows for an individual to be able to face their accusers. In lieu of that, you can assassinate a person's character at will with false unsubstantiatable claims.

To suggest something on the scale of current leftist claims, you MUST have confirmed cross examinable sources.

Geez, some of you got your lips so firmly glued to Trump's ads, you won't believe anything. Even if he said it was true
