Do you think numbers and math can explain everything better than words?
Then explain those who are mathematically challenged
"The mind knows things that are hidden from the heart, but the heart knows things the mind cannot begin to understand."
Life is math
And pictures do it even better.
A picture is definitely worth 1000 words.
Not even close
No, but the argument is largely moot since math is merely a "foreign" language. It is a symbolic language - its nouns are numbers, its verbs are operation symbols. It has prepositions, adjectives, even punctuation. It has grammar, vocabulary, syntax, and abides even by the elegant principle of simplification. So we're just talking about one language which we treat like a language and another which we unconsciously use as a language.
Brilliant and true. 👏🏼
That leads to the very interesting (IMO) question of whether the language you speak affects your thought process. It's more obvious in mathematics where the language is so distinct but does it apply to smaller differences between languages as well?
I think it does but only mildly because language is so different. But we put subjects in the beginning of our sentence. Does that indicate a potential source of selfishness or egotism?
Infinity is an abstract concept, similar to the square root of negative one, that represents an exorbitantly large value. For more information, Wikipedia is great at explaining things: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infinity. But yes, you are correct that infinity is difficult to explain since it is abstract. It's like whatever the fuck abstract art is supposed to be...
Thank you Wikipedia, you sir did. Nothin.
Let me stop u from embarrassment. As I and others know that infinity is an untold definition without reason that has driven some of the brightest minds into madness. We/I. Will expound gladly here but advise your attempts to look profound stop now.
