Have you ever gotten motion sickness to the point of "losing your lunch?"
On the way to Vermont and back to Lexington in an RV with no AC? My sister threw up and the smell of it made me.
Yeah at the fair on the ride too. They had to close it down to clean it
Now I feel like an uncool loser. I thought most people would say this has happened to them.
These comments are actually making me feel like I might puke.
No. but my friend did after riding the rollercoaster like 10 times..But we were trying to see how many times we could ride it before someone threw up..
I cannot read in a moving car.
@ earlybird at that time,I was in they didn't you just lived with it,if you did take any drug you would most likely throw it up anyways. Finally got dry heaves.yuch.
Never been motion sick I have a extremely strong stomach.
Amazingly, no! I did run into walls everywhere I went on the cruise ship I was on, though. People thought I was going back to my room completely hammered (at age 14), but I just couldn't walk a straight line on the ship.
This previous weekend, in fact... For the first time...
USNavyVet- I would think they would provide you boys with motion sickness pills or something?
I'm a pilot and roller coaster enthusiast, so no. Boats bother me a little bit in the ocean in rough seas, but never to the point of puking. Football workouts make me puke on occasion.
Wow, I'm so jealous of the majority. I get such bad motion sickness :(. Always have.
Only when I was super drunk...or pregnant
On a four hour trip we stopped about every 15 minutes so I could toss my cookies on the side of the road.
Longest trip EVER!
The closest I came was after hours of riding a Sea Doo in hot sun on salt water, and having accidentally ingested about a quart of it.
First time on a small fishing boat in the middle of the ocean when I was 10. Tossed all my cookies
I get car sick all the time but never really feel like upchucking, but i took a helicopter tour once and I really thought I was going to hurl mid flight. It was awful..
The waves did alot of deck damage to the ship, this was during the Cuban Crisis we went north to Newfoundland while everybody went south to Cuba,it figures.
No one ate for 2 days it was so rough, had to strap ourselves into our bunks with people throwing up from their bunks, what a mess.naturally I had the bottom rack of 3 high, what a mess.
Haha yes. One time I was at Worlds of Fun (in Missouri) and I had eaten breakfast and went on this thing where it spins and the floor drops out. I rode that about 5 times then web on the Zulu... About 5 times. Then i gagged and threw up- sadly on the path- not in the bathroom.
Yes several times (while in the Navy) in the North Atlantic in November/December on the destroyer I was stationed on.
A couple times- once as a child in the front seat of the big Merc Grand Marquis and once as a young adult fishing the Missouri River in a 50-60 mile an hour wind. Did a little chummin that day
Not really, but I did feel like I needed to vomit
When I was about 10 years old, I puked on my grandmother. I told My grandparents I was sick and they said we almost there. I told them, I can't wait. I was right.
I get motion sickness, but it only gives me a stomach ache and severe headache
I get some motion sickness in rare cases but never to that point
I heard a funny and sick thing. Someone threw up on the swinging boat ride and the other riders enjoyed sharing their lunch.
Ate a big burger on a fishing boat with a cook area. Didnt last long
I dont remember when so i said no.
My stomach is made of iron I think....I have to be REALLY sick to puke...it's weird. Short of a BAD, BAD flu, what goes down the throat doesn't ever come back up.
During our surface interval during our 1st scuba certification dive.
Never take Advil on an empty stomach & go on a car ride as a passenger in a hot car if prone to car sickness.
All the time. In planes, amusement parks, boats, busses & even car rides. It's just horrible.
Deep sea fishing off the coast of San Diego..... Everything came out
Nope. I love amusement park rides. I've never gotten sick from those, car rides, plane rides (even when I'm in a rear-facing seat), or anything like it. Now pregnancy is a different story that you don't want to hear!!!! Lol
the boat ride at Kings Dominion that rocked back n forth, then finally went all the way around... that always had me about to puke everywhere
When I was 10 years old we got a small pickup with side facing rear seats. I had never been carsick till then, but oh boy did I learn what misery feels like on mountain roads after that! Mom and dad didn't believe I was sick until I threw up all over the cab.
Salmon fishing charter out of Westport, not usually a problem but this one was particularly rough. Coupled with just enough breeze to constantly waft the diesel exhaust over the boat. I was not alone at the downwind rail that day.
Yea , I've fed the the fish a couple of times. I don' t stop me though.
almost, but not quite...
Redwoods PCH when I was 12. Fuck that was the longest drive of my life.
Yes. I have so many stories. No details, but let's just say: airplane, IMAX, car ride home from an amusement park, another airplane, after a bus ride... It goes on. Ya I guess I get kinda motion sick sometimes.
No not that bad. Just slight headache and dizziness from swings, long car rides, and some amusement park rides.
No, but I've come very close a couple of times.
I crave heights
