Should non-Americans be given the same legal rights when it comes to court cases?
The constitution only applies to US citizens...terrorists and illegal aliens have no rights
So a Frenchman on holiday can be arrested with no explanation and held in jail indefinitely with no trial or anything of the like?
In a civil court? Yes. In a criminal court? No.
Too many variables.
Our constitution grants everyone rights. Citizens or not.
Our laws apply to all people in the country. Yes.
All US citizens should be equal under the law.
Our country, our laws.
If they reside in the US, same rights
Those of us living here legally, absolutely. Illegal residents? I suppose do, yes.
People are people.
