Do you watch more independent streaming services (Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, etc.) or cable TV?
I use kodi like a pirate arrrrrrrrrr
Got rid of the overpriced cable a couple years ago.
I haven't had TV for about 3 years it's boring and overrun I keep to YouTube.
I haven't had cable for 13 years. And I've had Netflix that whole time, even before they had streaming.
Don't really watch tv.
Probably a tie overall, Netflix more recently.
I like to watch Netflix. Shows like House of Cards, Life Below Zero, and some Anthony Bourdain shows.
I watch cable via streaming.
I need live sports, so cable. But I do have MLB.tv so I can watch baseball online
Neither. Local channels abc nbc fox cw cbs
Not necessarily. I watch Fox but I don't have cable. I get it via antenna. In some areas you can get all the channels that he listed just with an antenna.
I use Sling for cable channels and get all my local stuff on the antenna. Poor man's cable, really. It's surprising you can catch so much over the air still.
Yea but it's still cable... especially for the purposes of this question when asked if you stream things.
Cable sucks. I stream. Why give more money for channels I don't watch? With Google Play Movies, I can watch TV and movies and only pay for the shows I watch. I spend like $8 per month on TV that way.
It is not either or with our family it is a matter of both
Yar har fiddle dee dee being a pirate is something to be
Cable for sports
Definitely cable. I can't read the small on-screen menu on my TV, so I'm not able to get to Netflix by myself. So I generally stick with my favorite cable channels.
I almost exclusively watch Netflix. House of Cards and Master of None have kept me busy for the past month.
Only streaming. We don't even have cable any more.
I don't watch ANYTHING while it is airing. I watch most shows On Demand, which is provided by my cable company.
I also have Hulu, which I use for any that are not On Demand, and if I miss one ON Demand before it expires. I also use it for older shows that are decent enough to watch with my granddaughters, like I Love Lucy and The Brady Bunch.
I also use the network apps, including Hallmark and CW to watch shows that aren't available On Demand.
we stream Playstation Vue, Netflix, Amazon, HBO, and Showtime via Amazon Fire TV's - so no cable
Mostly cable, with Amazon Prime as a backup for what I can't find there. So far I haven't needed any of the other streaming services, but am getting very close to subscribing to YouTube Red.
No more cable/satellite for nearly 2 years. Netflix and Amazon have much better quality programs.
And no commercials!👍
Don't got cable. Or satellite
Netflix, unless there are award shows on cable.
Streaming. Only streaming. Commercials are horrible.
Cable, but I am planning to start binging House of Cards, because I've heard such great things!
I stream my memes from the webzone
I dropped my cable package recently and I'm happy about it. 1 month later and it's amazing how much happier I am not having product ads constantly pumped at me. I'll probably never look back.
I don't watch movies.
What about shows, or documentaries? Netflix has many good educational documentaries available
The food network, Discovery channel, cable News. I have no prime-time shows. i watch survivor and Jeopardy. Some Columbo reruns. Seem to have lost interest. I tie trout flies, play with my computers, online poker.
The cost of cable vs. what you get Cable is on its way out. Tv company's and Cable need to quickly start rethinking the way they do business.
Netflix and Prime. We cut our cable ~2 years ago except for Internet.
Neither. Torrent everything.
Can't torrent live sports can you?
No but that's not really an issue for me. Not really into watching sports. Lightly watch football and UFC on TV.
I probably watch more streaming because all I really watch is sports through MLB.tv or Reddit
I haven't paid a corporation to watch commercials since 2007, and never will.
I only use streaming. If there is really a show I want to watch as it airs, I just buy the season on amazon.
House of Cards Season FIVE May 30!
🇺🇸 TRUMP/UNDERWOOD 2020! 🇺🇸
I rarely ever watch Tv, but when I do, it's mostly cable.
I can probably say last year we cut the cable cord. I pay for Internet have a Roku and we have an antenna that does great.
Mainly old people rely on cable for news. All they watch is Fox News. Bill O rileys average age viewer was 70....
I live in the mountains. No cable here. We can only get satellite.
Streaming only. We don't buy a tv subscription.
I want cable where you can choose the channels you want, and get rid of those you don't want.
You'll probably never have that in New York, but Time Warner offers it here with promotional plans starting at $3/month.
I don't even have cable anymore, there's no need. Between Netflix and Amazon I have plenty to watch, and I can see shows in order.
