In your opinion, what is the likelihood that President Trump will serve at least one full 4-year term in office?

Trump is going nowhere AND he'll be reelected for a second term. The media is running the Democratic Party now and all they have is accusations and innuendos. Pay attention to facts and common sense.

Mattwall1
05/20/17 9:37 am

Whether or not he should be, I don't think it's likely that President Trump is impeached. 1, because until at least January 2019, the House as Senate will be under GOP control, and the chances of a party impeaching and convicting one of their own is next to negligible. 2, because even if the Democrats regain the House, the chances of them gaining a 2/3 majority are beyond slim, and even if they regained a majority, they'd still have to convince a number of GOP senators to vote for Trump's removal. Is that likely? Stranger things have happened, but my bet is he is in office for the rest of this term at minimum

Not only will he complete his first term, but will be viewed as successful, leading to a second term.

This just proves there really should be an IQ test to vote. Republican House will not impeach. Democrats will not get 2/3rds of the Senate to vote to remove him from office. Even if Democrats impossibly won every single seat up for election in 2018, that would still leave them 10 votes shy of removing Trump from office.

Why would anyone vote for a democrat? People keep talking about them gaining seats in 2018. Why? Now more than ever are their socialist schemes being exposed as complete disasters. Venezuela is the latest example. Cuba has been opened up to travel, but nobody wants to go there because it's a sh**hole. Airliners are cancelling several flights to Cuba due to lack of demand. The cost of socialized medicine in the U.S. is skyrocketing. Surprise, surprise, they had a hard time getting healthy, young people to sign up in order to subsidize sicker, older people. This is what happens when you circumvent market forces. The Trump "drama" is manufactured by the media. I doubt most people would care about what's going on if it weren't for the media making it sound like Trump is Satan.

If the orange maniac could just keep his mouth shut he probably would serve a full term, but he can't do that. At every turn he has made it worse for himself. The lies and deceit are not even manageable any more. Every day he is violating the emollients clause of the Constitution. He has obstructed justice by firing the man overseeing the investigation into him and admitting that was the reason for the firing. They can't even fill the cabinet jobs because no one wants to hop on a derailing train. There are many questionable financial transactions that look a lot like international money laundering. The government is not even able to function due to the scandals. We are living through a dark part of our history as a country. Eventually I believe that the Republican house and Senate will do the right thing and end this shit show and put someone (anyone) competent in office. This is beyond partisan politics, this is about saving our honor and our democracy.

A vote of impeachment only activates a trial process in the senate. The senate then decides if the president should be removed from office. There have only been two presidents that have been impeached but none has been removed from office thus far.

I remember a few turning on him when he made fun of the gold-star family. Then they went back to him. Then a few turned on him when the Hollywood access tape came out. Then they went back to him. So far very few republicans are voicing opposition to him. What matters is whether republican voters turn on him, and that's not going to happen unless he declares himself the antichrist.

I would give Trump an 80 percent chance of completing his term, for right now...

For Trump to be impeached you need 3 things.

1. For the allegations to be true. (Right now we don't have any evidence).
2. It has to be an impeachable offense. (Declassifying information is not illegal, Russia meddling with the election doesn't make Trump guilty of anything).
3. Democrats need the majority in congress.

Right now, we are 0/3.

Look, the DNC emails were either leaked or hacked in order to harm HRC. I think we can all agree on that. I think people are jumping to conclusions about Trump's involvement. We don't know how Wikileaks got the emails as Assange won't tell. Assange did say it wasn't the Russians. The CIA said it was "highly likely" it was the Russians so I guess they don't know this as fact. President Trump has denied it so I guess a lot of people think our President is lying. A DNC staffer disgruntled about Bernie could have done it (so a leak). A hacker could have done it for fun. Another foreign government could have done it at their own acting. I think we should let the facts lead us to the right conclusion. As Americans, we should presume our President is innocent until proven guilty. To take any steps further than this is just petty political BS.
