Do you ever get afraid when flying on airplanes? ✈️
I've never been on one before, but I will when I go to Oklahoma this summer!
I flew a DC7 , Eastern Airlines, one night. Fire coming from exhausts. Lots of fun.
Not so much. I've had some sketchy moments, legitimately thought we were going down once. Oddly, that didn't scare me so much, I just accepted that I was about to die.
Fortunately, my husband is a pilot, and he has helped me to understand what is going on during the flight (take off/landing/etc.). I'm not nervous at all. I love to fly!
Only when it hits turbulence for more than a second or two.
Omg I hate to fly
Yes. When I see that person who was really loud and obnoxious at the gate walking down the aisle towards my seat I silently sit in fear.... "Please not by me, please not by me..."
Refused to fly since 9/11. Don't like people poking me.
Que sera sera. It's not like I can get out and walk.
I just keep in mind that, if my time is up... Then I can't stop it.
I had a bumpy approach and landing last night. The plane was being tossed in the wind on the approach to the runway.
NA never have stepped foot in an airport, much less a plane.
Only once, in a small Irish passenger plane flying through a winter storm from Madison WI to Chicago Midway. It was an absolute roller coaster, and I had to use my airsick bag.
I did not know the Irish made aircraft??
I didn't either until I got on the plane and asked the flight attendant what type of aircraft we were on. It was a twin-engine prop plane, and it just wasn't tough enough for that storm!
Guess God had a greater purpose for you than to add to death by Irish statistics
Pretty much anything would beat that...
I'm always afraid when I'm in an airplane.
Even if it's on static display to the public?
Haha! No. Just if it's in the air. Or about to take off.
Lesson learned here: Try not to use the word "always."
When landing. That is basically the only time.
The last time I was on a plane we started our landing, were somewhat close to the ground then took off and went back up all of a sudden. I was so scared lol then they explained that we had to kill time and wait longer to land
I would observe that that would be every time.
There are few things in life as consistent as one take off to every landing.
