Do you want president Trump impeached? If you could say why I would be happy to hear your argument.

Impeached. First and foremost for the deployment of military force without a Congressional declaration of war, which is a violation of the Constitution and his oath of office.

The constitution gives the president the ability to make swift military action without a declaration of war.

No it doesn't. I suggest you go and actually read the Constitution before you go and make yourself look foolish again.

I actually have read the constitution on several occasions. The constitution never says that a declaration of war is required to deploy troops, and the War Powers Act allows the president to use the military unilaterally for up to 60 days. What Trump did not violate the Constitution or the War Powers Act.

The War Powers Act is unconstitutional. Congress cannot legislate its powers and responsibilities away.

You're also reading the Constitution the wrong way. It lists what government CAN do, not what it can't. If it doesn't give the President the power to deploy forces without a declaration of war, he can't. Period.

If that's what you really thought, you'd have been calling for the impeachment of every president since FDR. Presidents have been using the military without declaration of war since WW2. If it were really unconstitutional then Obama would've been in serious hot water for the thousands of bombs he dropped every year without a declaration of war.

They should have been impeached, and Obama as well.

It does, you just want to stick your head in the sand and pretend everything is fine and dandy in the world and that the Constitution hasn't been shredded and the foundation of the Republic eroded.

Not in a million years would the Framers give the President the power to deploy the military without Congressional approval, and I think you know that.

If that were their intention, then they probably would've put it in the constitution.

No, as I stated, the Constitution only enumerates the sole powers of government. If it isn't listed, government does not have that power. The Constitution does not give the President to deploy forces without Congressional approval. Therefore he does not have that power, and to do so would be unconstitutional.

How is this so hard to understand?

I'm just trying to prove that what Trump did was legal, which I did.
