So happy. I was leaving restaurant management. There were irregular hours, no consistent schedules, 50 hour (scheduled) workweeks.
I changed for a job with regular hours, a consistent schedule, a 40 hour workweek, and a 10% raise.
I didn't know what to do with all of my free time at first.

Very sad. A supervisor screwed up and didn't schedule me correctly. I got use to the fact that she would say one thing and do another so I was careful to keep track of my schedule and worked hours. She had offered me hours and wouldn't schedule me. I was offered a new client every Thursday and every other weekend. She didn't start me on Thursdays until the next month, not the next two week schedule like we had discussed. She scheduled me Saturday's but not Sundays every other weekend. I called her and talked to her about it in person and she never fixed my schedule. She was bringing new staff to train all the time to this client and she was getting fed up! Then she said I was fired for a no call no show for a shift I was never scheduled for. I talked to the owner and she was fired and I was offered my job back but I walked in to another agency and was hired on the spot.
