Has President Trump been any different from how you imagined he would be when he was first elected?

Nope. Figured he'd be a point and laugh shitshow. But he's a SMH shitshow. Same thing 🤔

Much better and more statesmanlike.

On Israel, he's been much more liberal than he promised. That has been surprising.

No, I imagined he'd be a dumpster fire. So far he hasn't disappointed. And I really have preferred to be disappointed. I've said it before and I'll say it again...can we all just pitch in and hire the man a tutor?

Yes, he's been much more conservative than I imagined. He's been less opposed to free trade than I feared, less draconian on immigration than I worried, and more interventionist in Syria than I could have ever hoped.

Mostly yes. However I did think that he would do something to Hillary so his non action in that regard was surprising.

I had hopes it wouldn't be as I imagined. It's exactly as I imagined.

I honestly hoped he would turn it around and actually be presidential. I didn't think it was a realistic hope. But, I hoped.

Oddly, I hoped for, and expected this chaos. It weakens his political position limiting the damage he could do legislatively. It also almost assures a Democratic wave in the next Congress.

Yes. It's even more chaotic than I thought. The policy that he's trying to implement isn't surprising, nor is his struggles in the political process of getting laws passed. But it seems like there's a new problem every single day coming out of the White House, and I didn't think it would be this bad

For me - not really. I expect bad policy quickly pushed through, if anything the Senate has been better than I would have expected. I wish Ayotte and Kirk were still in it, but the slim majority has kept the House humble. If the House would grow a brain we could actual tackle important issues.
