Yes, but not monetarily. They'll more than likely end up using that money for drugs. Help them find a job instead.

Do I give a few dollars? Occasionally. Maybe water & snacks too. It's not my job to get them back on their feet. Many have mental issues or have made poor choices in life.

Jesus said whatever I do for the homeless, He acknowledges it as if I have done it to Him. I'm not responsible for how the money is spent. Just for my own actions.

There's this asshole I know, his name is Steve. Like this one time, there were these homeless people minding their own business sleeping rough on the streets, and he just had to try and help them.
