Have you ever been in a helicopter?
Said yes because I believe you're asking if I've flown in a helicopter.
I've been in one that never left the ground.
Sorry, said no
Ex military, countless times.
My husband used to work on them and now he inspects then.
Yeah. A few years ago I got medevac'd to Boston.
I've never ridden one but I've ridden in the Goodyear Blimp whatever that has to do with this question. lol
Yes, I got to fly in one over Charlotte. Very nice!
Would not care to.
I've been in one but never one that lifted off the ground.
Spent too much time in one.
In Orlando they'll take you over the Disney parks for $20.
Really? Is a Disney thing or just some guy with a helicopter making easy cash?
They have a few businesses in Kissimmee that offer it. They're enough for 3 passengers. Pretty fun.
I was obsessed with helicopters as a kid and I got to ride in one at age 10. A Vietnam vet was our pilot and he did a bit of showing off with a fast landing while turning. Nope no thx. Never again.
No but would like to someday.
Me--no. My husband--only aerovac with a broken neck. He was bummed that it was his first ride and he was staring at the ceiling
As Engineering & operations Supt. I was required by DOT, to fly the energy pipelines in my area, several times a year, usually in a single engine Cessna, but I think flew them one time in a Bell helicopter.
Yes, to see the lava in a volcano on Big Island.
Yeah. The parish I was at had fundraiser for our youth sports, you paid for golf balls, which were numbered and dropped from a helicopter onto a golf green, closest to hole one money. One year I got to do the drop. I went up in a helicopter, leaned out the door, directed the pilot left or right and then dumped two large bucket containing several hundred golf balls out of the helicopter. It was a lot of fun.
I once was in a helicopter ride. In Argentina. Never again
Doing search and rescue in the mountains I got to ride in a Chinook and a Bell Jet Ranger.
Twice. One ride in a CH-47 and another in a UH-60M, both for air assault missions. As a fixed-wing aviator and a skydiver on the civilian side, I hate helicopters. Damned things belong on the ground.
On the ground yeah
Not that I can remember however I have been to Vegas a few times
Our base flies the UH-1. I've been in one, but it was parked in the hanger the whole time. 😉
Many times. Ditched in ocean once. Marine Corps
👍🏻Thanks for your service !
Yes. Thank you! 🇺🇸
I have, and I liked it. A lot. If helicopters and rotary wing training weren't so expensive, I'd have a Schweitzer 300C parked in my back yard as my daily driver.
Last summer. I've never been in a plane however
Never been in a plane!?
Nope. My family always took road trips places so I've never had a reason and now I do the same thing.
You're missing some cool places and I like the experience of flying HOWEVER since TSA has been around it's a nightmare and I would REALLY rather not fly.
I'm sure I will one day, just never been far enough where I needed too.
Yep. Had an emergency and had to almost ditch in the open ocean. At night. In the middle of the Indian Ocean. Scary.
Took a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon when I was a kid.
A few times - Tahiti, Fiji, New Zealand, and Alaska.
As a child at an air show; in but not up.
Chinook in training ...
Better fly it, like you stole it.!!! A lot need help with that.
I was just along for the ride, was fun though.
In, but not up in.
US Army Air Assault! #ArmyVet
Haha I'm at Air Assault School right now. Phase 3.
Just for takeoff, not landing. We fast roped out.
Navy rescue helo during a deployment. Perks of being an operational "nonner"
Twice in Hawaii.
I would like to. Maybe I should put a big white X in the septic field. Fishing for whirlybirds.
Some of us identify as helicopters
At least you didn't make a helicopter ride joke.
Yeah, I used to rappel out of them in the Army.
Once. Last year in NY
It was grounded.
