Theft of household property had an estimated 67% of cases as unreported. If these cases were reported, do you think more people would think theft of household property is a more common occurrence?
My kids steal stuff from me all the time and I haven't reported any of it to the police. Yet.
Do you mean breaking and entering, or do you mean "theft" as in a known person in the house?
