I drive through or to it a couple of times a year. It's about halfway to Misery from here, and it's a pretty great place to go camping and sightseeing.
Kinda hard to prove, and I don't drive, so I can't drive up there and take a photo of the state border sign.
But I do live about 35 miles from the Colorado-Wyoming border, and Cheyenne is about 10 miles past that. It's about the same distance as the crow flies from my daughter's house to Cheyenne, but she's up in the foothills of the Rockies above town, and on a clear night you can see lights past the Colorado-Wyoming border.
Since there are lights beyond the distance to the border, there's pretty clearly *something* there. Folks who live there do call it Wyoming.
Also, I've been through it in a car, but that was a long time ago.
