Do you think that the LGBT community is getting more conservative as a whole? Or are the minority just more vocal?
The ones I know and love are getting more mature.
Dkdc fucking Queers.
This will not be tolerated on any poll of mine. Don't come here and slander any people simply because you decided it was wrong. Debate, don't be unintelligent and ignorant.
There is small...but growing, minority that has had it with Left's PC nonsense ('is your Grindr profile racist?'....'we need to welcome Muslim radicals'...etc). They're are the fiercely individualists that that like the libertarian/alt-right tell-it-like-it-is mentality.
I haven't been paying any attention to them. Nor will I.
Head in sand usually makes your perceived problem go away. I applaud your maturity...
It's what I do when my young daughter wants attention at an inappropriate time. And it works.
Same thing here.
Now that gay marriage is because a non issue, it would stop mattering on how they vote. Gays will start giving more importance to other things like taxes, national security, gun control, the life of the unborn... when casting a ballot.
Not this one. This one will be voting for the right to choose
Ok, I get that. And I don't expect the majority of gays to become Republican. I'm just saying that some will. Thankfully, gay rights is not going to be an issue anymore
They're really a minority. A large majority are liberal, although there are a decent amount of conservatives.
I think everyone is pretty sick of the whiners on the far left. It pushes many people (gay/straight) to the right.
I'm both gay and conservative, but I still think gay right-wingers are just a vocal minority.
At first I thought that too, but as I started dating and whatnot, at least here in Georgia, a good majority were conservative. Then there was the far left socialist but we don't talk about him haha
I hope you're right. I'm just a natural pessimist and skeptic. I honestly don't know why so many of our fellow gay Americans are liberal. You'd think they'd be against the ideology that wants to import sharia into America.
Far left wingers are only that way because they don't know what they really stand for
That's because they've been brainwashed.
I'm straight but curious...... No not about that! LOL I'm curious if those highly vocal straight people that rush at the opportunity to call anyone possible a "homophobe" is as annoying to you as I could imagine they'd be to me. Again, I can't have the full perspective, but still, that's gotta be annoying,,, right?
Extremely. I'm a proponent of the "let me figure it out myself" mentality. I don't appreciate anyone speaking on my behalf or forcing me into a little box that they can check off under "predictable." The amount of people who were amazed when I came out in support of President Trump back in September well got on my nerves. The stereotyping of the left is often worse than that of the right
Well said, devspi!
My son is getting a bit more conservative. Do y watch Rue Paul? This season they have talking politics a lot more. I think the season started shortly after the shooting at the nightclub.
I think not having to hide in the closet like they used to has changed their viewpoint too. My brother never publicly came out. My son has been out for a long time. When you were persecuted minority I think your views might be a little different than when you have some freedoms.
No, I don't watch Rue Paul. I mostly just watch the news and listen to music. I'm pretty boring! 😜
I doubt that.
Thanks, TopsQueen. 😊
