If marijuana was legalized today, would it help the economy itself, or cause harm to it?
I think it would initially help, but do long-term harm.
Well everyone uses it now and we see just how much society is benefitting from it. We now have shows like "Sharknado." Thank marijuana for that.
Wow, excellent point.
Because of stoners we now have a plan of action and the know-how as to how to deal with the impending sharknado.
How would it hurt exactly?
That's what I'm wondering. Someone please explain that.
Not the economy, but police seizure auctions might take a hit
Short-term - yes
Long-term - No
I can't think of any good short term results except relief from all the complaining
Small distribution centers would open up everywhere creating small business owners and minimum wage jobs. If they can survive the tax onslaught that will go with it that is.
The production of hemp products would be so much more profitable. It would cause a pretty sizable economic boom.
Well I know we could sell the marijuana for a lot of money and it can be used for many many other products, so chances are it would give it a boost
Plus we wouldn't be spending billions a year on the drug war anymore, which couldn't hurt
